Cross out your personal info and post, so we can put this subject to rest. I'm asking you to post because something smells like bologna. I'm not putting anyone down. I'm hearing all this talk and rumors. If you want to prove your point and prove me wrong, I don't see why we can't see a statement. I've seen people post the numbers and crunch them, and they aren't as rosy as what you're posting.

It sound's negative because I don't share the same view point. I'm asking you to prove me wrong. Telling me how much you made proves nothing. Showing me how you make proves everything, it's on paper.

Reread that ... that's my average revenue per week over 52 weeks ... I only work 41 weeks ... Since you don't appear to grasp the concept of annualized revenue ... I'll explain. The business brings in about $1270 a week, on average, over the 41 weeks I work. Additionally I put away $300 for maintenance over the 41 weeks I work.

And as I pointed out my effective tax rate is less than 6% ... for example I paid $2600 in taxes this year, 5%. About $63 a week, over the 41 weeks I worked. So if you want to think terms of a company driver - since that's all you understand - I take home $1200 a week after taxes ... Though, I don't run my accounting or my business that way.

Like I said, I pay myself an after tax salary - the business pays the taxes - of $40K a year. That would equate to around $.37 a mile on 120,000 miles, before taxes, for a company driver.

But unlike a company driver, I am also investing $30K a year in a capital asset. Once that debt is retired, the business will throw off an additional $30,000 cash a year.

How much do you pay for fuel, price per gallon I mean? What was your average MPG for this week? That's a respectable earning though for an above average week. I'd be curious to see what the owner op mentors make.

depends how good the mentors are and run, one of the o/o's on my fleet makes bank when he trains. It all boils down to how you run your business, if smart you will make decent money, if stupid then you go in the hole and lose your business.

I am sticking to being a company driver at least for now but swift keeps calling me telling me im eligible to lease bla bla. If I do not get the position I applied for and have an interview on Monday with the fleet then I might think about leasing when I remain a driver and pick up the Vegas runs we are getting in a month or so. As a dedicated company driver I am averaging about $800 a week, a good week I pull in well over $1k and on a horrible week $650ish, this is all after taxes and deductions. While over the road during the first few months I did poorly since I was one of those lazy idiot drivers who was too picky, once I started driving harder and got other opportunities I saw the rewards in income and I changed the whole way I approached being a driver.

Would you be so kind as to explain #78 on your settlement?
Is that for all advances or are you paying for some of your fuel?
    Thanks!

That's how much you spent for fuel for the week on your Comdata card.

you still didn't answer my question on how much you pay for fuel. Do you get fuel discounts? What was your average mpg for the week? thanks.
