Best wishes to all you IC guys. I've been thinking about it myself. Been with Schneider as a company driver for a little over 2 years. How is freight and rates in and out of Minneapolis St Paul area? Also, I 'm guessing I'd lose the match on my 401k if I left the company side before 3 years...anybody know? Thnx

Is anyone looking to lease with Schneider finance? Wondering what truck you are looking to go with and what the lease looks like? Also interested in anyone that already has leased what truck did you choose and your term etc.. The new Evo's have the black lower trim instead of color matching in the pictures online.. Really appreciate all the great feedback on this site.. Was just approved today for the choice program with SNI.

That's awesome. How long did it take you to get approved, from the application date? I am currently being reviewed by both SNI choice and Landstar. Sni was a recent option. I've been waiting for everything from Landstar for nearly a month now, they definitely want everything first... SNI seems like good people too and a nice option.

Just curious! How did you come about checking into SNI choice?

BTW, I chose 2013 Freightliner Cascadia, Platinum color, slightly used 50,000 miles. 3 year lease to purchase at end with balloon payment. Probably will take me 4/5 years to pay off.

I was approved by SFI in 3 days from application date. The finance is what I am waiting on now. Been 4 days so far but I did find out that my app has been moved to the office that works on the lease etc. I was told I should hear back within a few days if they need anything else or to give their answer. Curious what others had to go through also. Time line, options that were given as far as length of lease and rate?

Brian with Finance got back to me and did a phone interview pretty quick. He just emailed me today, said they were swamped, so that could be why they are taking a little longer. With no money down they only offer you Cascadias and one year leases as far as I know.

Thank you. One year sounds good to me.. I do have $2500 down plus @$5,000 more if needed for reserve to start just for the new LLC.

There are a couple of guys that put 5k down on new T680's 3k of it went into the trac program that sfi matches at the end of the lease. I believe they are leasing for 3 years. I did a 1 year lease on 2014 evo.
