Load was drop/hook, swap trailers at the dock. BUT, my 3:30 apt turned in to 7:00 cause they was still making the Gatorade, the 70 miles to 1000 Palms Flying J only took 2.5 hours. Not bad for LA rush hour. Drop this in Phoenix, live load at same place, the back to LA. Hope I ain't getting caught up in a Yo-Yo effect.

 

Finally found a parking spot at Loves east of Knoxville, got into the slot just as my 14 ran out. Rolling hard to Wilkes-Barre, PA tomorrow then trying to snag a 500 mile load to hit 3500 for the week.

 

Jurupa Valley update. ..

Swift drivers are now supposed to use the new entrance only. I was informed as I departed this evening with a load. I guess the old entrance will be used by Central and some of the dedicated drivers.

 

I learned that last week the hard way. Good thing I'm there once a month or less

 

can find some good prices at best buy too, but indeed dont buy from the truck stop not even the accessories. I havent even been using mine, been adsorbed into audiobooks, im on book 51 of the series I got sucked into. Just glad I can find plenty of audiobooks to download since they are way too expensive, the graphic audio books I listen to are $20 each so I would of already spent over $1,000 on books in just a couple months.

 

What series are you listening to?? We enjoy audiobooks too

 

Wolfy what unit do you have? I bought Steve a Sirius unit but after a few months bouncing in it's holder OTR it is done. Which is annoying after all the trouble he went to route the antenna.

 

Glad the my Sirus came with the truck. All built in. Just had to call and activate it. Witchy, surprised Steve did not have one built in
