Hey everyone new trucker here. Is 25 percent of load a fair wage hauling aggregate belly dump for a "virgin" trucker? Thank you all for any comments?

It's about average. If the company has good rates it's all good if they work cheap you starve. I hauled steel for percentage as a driver years ago. I got 25 of the gross.
MnMongoose Thanks this. -
Yah I have no clue said to average been 150-300 day. Just looking for some insight. Thanks a bunch!

That's a respectable percent. Low end would be around 22% for a rookie and high end would be around 29-31%

Sounds like a normal plan, just depends on rates. 25% of a little is not much, 20 % of a higher number is a lot more.
Also , is 25 % before or after any deductions ? Any brokerage fees off the top ?
Who pays O/Weight citations ? Rock buckets are generally easy to overload.

Yah I have my fingers crossed it works out! Thanks 70's driver. That is very good money back then.
