Parked Here for the Night

Parked @ Loves in La Porte or Deer Park. 77 degree's with a nice wind. I was thinking about getting a couple laps in tonight, but after the bacon mc double, fries, and 2 apple pies. I think I'm going to walk to get me some more apple pies. Or maybe after every lap I'll get 2 apple pies for energy

 

Parked at the TA in San Antonio. Deliver in the AM. Drop and hook then heading to the Werner yard in Laredo to pull one of their trailers. The kicker is nobody had given me any pickup info. I'm like great , I'm going to have to guess which trailer!

 

And here I thought you were a Sweet and Kind-Spirited Truckin Lady...Sure had me fooled.. In Sunny and very dry Moapa Indian Rez,NV..Cant help but wonder if all that snow was nothin but a dream??

Never said anything bad about em-just that I would never work for one..LOL Sure I'm not talented enough for "them" anyway.

 

Load won't cross the border until tomorrow. Decided to grab a room at the motel 6 in Layoveredo

 

Plus, the load was due at the receiver in San Antonio at 4am, not 7am as I was told. They had been there waiting for me. Hate having to apologize for someone else's screw up.

Hell had I known that they wanted it at 4, I'd have parked at their location.

Did you come through that wind last night? WOW! Even for a town named "Hurricane," that was a bad one. Lots of power out from Beaver to St. George, and on east to Garfield County. We got lucky with that, had a power bump about 2130 or so, but never actually lost power. I did wonder if the house was going to blow away though. We did have some tree damage. . .

 

Yeah Man...No one was more surprised than me when I still had my drum on the Trailer.. That was my "Easy Money" load when I left home and yup..Still have it. Gave you one of my "Sincere Salutes" though Don when I flew "pun intended" through there. Coffee on me when we meet up. Not literally I hope.. LOL

parked at flying j in Harrisburg PA , 6:45 appointment for unload in the morning , then take another 10 hr break ( sleeping should be fun) then to atlanta by tuesday at 10 p.m. hmmmm. That almost seems like its not gonna work .
then be back in PA Thursday night to go home ......

If any of these trailer ####### forklifts mess up my schedule , I am gonna pull away from the dock and drop them on their ###..
