Any idea what the typical install time is? Dealer I've been talking to is saying a minimum of 3 days. I'd really rather not be down for that long.

Six hours in our company shops. The TK dealer in Denver was scheduling as a day IIRC.

I had an APU on my last truck and miss it badly on this one. Have no frame space on this truck to install it so I'm outta luck....

I figured a day or less. No idea why these clowns think it'll take 3 days.

If it's like the installation on some of our company trucks, the Webasto will be a standalone unit separate from the APU and air conditioning control. You should be able to heat the truck and run the APU at the same time, just not through one control panel.

that wouldn't do you much good while driving. and I got a t600 and a dynasys unit takes up 18 inches between fuel tank and quarter fender, on passenger side.

Depends on what kind of quality of install you want? Is the frame being drilled? Do coolant lines and wiring need to be routed, secured and protected. How much junk needs to be removed from the truck to install it. Tons of variables that can determine install time. And by the way most "company shops" don't care about the quality of their work or installs, they just slap em on and let everything rub everywhere. I've seen it many times.
