Now dear, don't get your hackles up, most of us guys are good people with daughters of our own. I give you a lot of credit for even being here. I always remember what my grandfather said to my grandmother when she expressed interest in getting a drivers license. He said, "You just get back in the kitchen where you belong"! Can you believe that mentality? I always told my daughter, "You can do it, sweetheart, no matter what", and I can tell, someone must have said that to you, or you wouldn't be here. We're not all jerks. Women have come a long way, don't lower yourself to the idiots level. I'm single, and it's impossible to find a woman nowadays because they think all men are jerks, and that's a shame. You don't have to prove anything to anybody , as long as you can do the job safely. Best of luck.
sorry. I gave an opinion and then I start getting called names and being insulted because of it, and being told that Im not a professional by someone who isn't even out of cdl school, I tend to get a little defensive. can't help it, just my nature to stick up for myself. I had 4 brothers growing up that made me tough and made sure if it's dished out my way I dish it right back. I lost 2 of them to a boating accident a few years ago, and another died in Afghanistan in combat last summer. All I have left is one brother and one sister.
Safety is always my priority every day. I dont play with my phone while driving, dont talk on the phone even with my headset unless it's really important.
A lot of men act like jerks, which is why a lot of women don't give them the time of day. they just get fed up with it ya know? i dated a few guys back in high school, but about the time my junior year came around, I realized I like girls and wasn't interested in the boys.
but there's nothing left for me to add to this thread that hasn't already been said, so I'll just move along. no sense continuing to bicker, I have better things to do. -
