Bunch of BS. You've been put on the backburner. Always hated that. It's ok if they're busy but trying to avoid telling the truth about days down sucks. Half a day they could have that knocked out. Parts could be gotten from any of probably half a dozen sources or more within 100 miles of you. Wouldn't use them for anything again. Transition to picking up your own tools over time so you're not dependent on these people who don't care and do half assed work anyways.

    Ok...here is an update..Day10

Went by the shop working on my truck today, found nobody even working on my truck and the only thing that had been done to it in 10 days was probably about 20 wires put back together, otherwise the truck looked pretty much like it did when it was towed there. The shop did order parts and the parts where there but no work done to truck.

Called the shop owner because He was not at the shop and I asked him for a timeframe as to when the truck will be done....He told me 5/23/14 it should be done. I told him that was more than a week away and that He already had ten days to work on the truck and He had not done much to it.

I told him to figure out what I owe him and that I wanted him to tow my truck to another place just across the interstate....The shop owner suddenly developed an attitude with me and became very rude, told me that there was a lot of tow calls in front of me and He might not be able to tow it to the other shop for a day or two....His only concern was getting his money for the work that He claims was done and then The truck will be towed to the new shop.

He figured out the bill , charged me 42 hours labor at $75.00 per hour...which in 42 hours time the #### truck would have been fixed and out the door!! Then the tow charge to tow the truck across the interstate was $350 and as of this morning the truck still was not towed to the new shop, but the tow was paid for.

All total it cost me $5,567.00 at this shaddy character's shop for work that was never done and I still have to get the work done at the new shop

Probably his brother across the interstate. A job like that there is no excuse for the delay. Did you get a quote before any work was done?

Yes, be sure to let everyone know the name of the shop, back in my day I was broke down a few times, but nothing like that every happened to me. All of them did the work & got me out fast as possible.

The name of the shop is Blackwell's Truck and Service in Mobile,Al They are listed in the national breakdown network and it would be wise not to use them as I learned the hard way...His bill was paid and He was supposed to tow my truck to freightliner across the interstate right after the bill was settled..He did not get my truck to freightliner as agreed to.

The next day morning I called him to find out why my truck was not at freightliner yet because He was already paid and it included the tow.

He told me it will get there when it gets there. I ended up calling the cops and they made him get the truck to where it was supposed to be, but not before Blackwells had destroyed the little work they had done to it and they siphoned all the fuel from my tanks..

After all the work is done at Freightliner, take the receipts from both shops and file a claim in Small Claims Court against the first shop to try to recoup the money you had to pay for the work that they supposingly did, but destroyed afterwards. There's no excuse for a Business to treat its customers like that.
