    A typical heartland thread:
high cpm: no miles to run.
continous overnight 300 mile crap loads.
sit 4 days a week at truck stops:
drivers talked down too like a peasant or slave right to their face:
driver finally can't take it anymore and quits:
    heartless hammers them on dac:

    End of thread:

Hey Air Breeze, my fellow heartless ex patriot! LOL. Amazing isn't it, they act like a good company and you think things will go well and suddenly you realize, holy @@@@ I'm starving here! My new job is great, a little tiring as I'm always working but my time is productive. I'm never away unless I am on a load and any time waiting for a load, which hasn't been any lately, is in Houston so I can go home. I'm making in a week what I made in a month at Heartless! Stupid me even tried to share with my ex wife, in hopes she would realize things can be better, but her attorney made sure she never learned about that. Oh well she chose the scenario, it hurts me, but I know in my heart I did all I could for her.

mje, Air Breeze and Dinomite Thank this.

Hi Westernflyer, I have seen that numerous times lately. Hopefully they dont screw up my DAC. I doubt I will go anywhere else though. I'm going back to school on line and finishing up my law degree. Yes, a stupid truck driver hoping to turn attorney, can you imagine :) If my current job holds true for the next 3 years, I will leave them with a big thank you and speak well of them. At Heartless I had more time to study, but couldn't afford the wireless internet or the computer to do it. Never mind the costs of the class! It's amazing how they expect people to have no life and live like that.

Any idea how to check my DAC and is there anything I can do about it if they did report anything false. I have photos of me parking their truck at their Phoenix yard and a witness who picked me up and drove me home.

Western flyer and mje Thank this.

Drove for Heartland from 2/2001 til just after 9/11, about 7 months. Drove out of the Kingsport, TN location.

Average miles per week, going home 2 or 3 weekends a month: 1750.

Hasn't changed in all this time.

Air Breeze, drvrtech77 and mje Thank this.

Ever since the GTI buyout they are spamming Craigslist for drivers like crazy. Going just by their ads you'd think this company really has it together: LOL:smt043

Except now they have the new DOT rules and they have Gordon to deal with. Otherwise, same old BS as always!
