When I spoke with the hiring manager at the place that hauls sand he said his lazy drivers make 65k and the hustlers make 80+. The other place pays hourly but im not sure how many hours their drivers work. Its through a recruiting service and the recruiter won't really tell me that much. Just keeps saying that they don't do phone interviews and that I have to go out there. All I know is that California doesn't have what Im looking for so I have to try something new. If Texas doesn't work out then I'll go to PA or ND. Im determined to get my own truck and I'll do whatever it takes.
Percentage vs Hourly? What's better?

Interested in how your uncle likes the Bakersfield job. Don't see too much advertising for crude hauling in Cali. TIA

$16 is great if it's ticket time...
