ive only been forced to wear boots and vest while in orientation. i wear slippers while driving and tennis shoes anywhere outside the truck including in oc's. no one will say anything to you but its on you if you slip and/or fall.

That was what I figured, it's kind of in the middle of everything. To be honest I've done more than bounce the idea around, ive put in an app and planning to go through sfi. Was told today that im approved for presale and the ic recruiter is waiting on the checklist from my dbl. Kindof confused as to what happens next though, any details would be really appreciated.

Have you read this thread from the beginning? Cause that will answer almost all of your questions. Chicknwing, atruckr, & sadwar all have very informative threads, too.

actually, it happens pretty fast from here. as soon as you're approved, they'll start talking to you about what kind of truck you want. Frankly, I'd suggest a 1 year walk away......a lot of stuff can happen in a year. Best of luck

That is exactly what I am doing. I figure a year will give me a fair amount of time to decide if Schneider and I are a good fit. From what I have seen so far, I am very pleased with how they treat the IC.

Really im just looking for a quick and dirty breakdown on what goes to who out of your pay. I understand everyone's situation is going to be different, honestly just looking for a rough generalization. What does schneider deduct and what is left up to me etc.
