Pauls Valley walmart could be a problem on getting empties..New Braunfels is good with empties...and Temple walmart could be hit and miss with empties...Good luck with those..

Don't know why these boards have such a problem with attached images.

I've got the pics posted on my Facebook blog, the link is in my signature. That's the best I can do.

Someone here at this shipper is about to incur the wrath of the underpaid and overworked owner operator.

This was supposed to be a drop and hook, and has now turned into a live load, because apparently "The load will be ready by 1500" means "we'll do it when we feel like it." Been here almost 3 hours now.

I'm seriously considering dropping this trailer right here in the door and leaving to my next assignment. I did not spend 4 hours yesterday planning this set of loads only to have a clerk with an attitude and lazy forklift drivers screw it all up.

Now I just have to figure out how to politely tell Schenider to find someone else for this mess...

you roll with it...... Captain, I feel ya, but one time I thought about it and I thought, "well, I never beetched when it was supposed to be a live load and it turned out to be a loaded trailer, or a live unload that turned out to be a drop". It happens,bro....it just happens...

I ended up dropping it and leaving, didn't even tell them either. Here's how it played out:

I arrived and checked in. The lady at the front desk said it would be a live load since it wasn't ready. I asked her roughly how long we were looking at. She replied with "How the hell should I know?" and I replied with "Because you work here." I then told her I was going to go back out to the truck and check with the company on what to do, since I am on a schedule, and CS was already sending me messages asking about my ETA on my next couple loads.

Spoke with an awesome guy in support services. He asked me very nicely to wait, and said as long as I was loaded and rolling by 1945, everything would be fine. I said okay. He asked me to go back inside and get a number from the lady so Schneider could call them and get an update, since the number they had was no longer in service. I went back inside and was met with a LOT of hostility when I asked for the number. She said "What the hell do you need that for?" and I replied with "Because the company wants to call you." She replied with "We don't need to talk to them." And I replied with "Well, give me the number anyway." She wrote down the number, slammed the paper down on the counter, and then said "Well, while you were out there #### chatting, we had a door for you but you've missed your chance now." I just said "Fine, whatever" and went back out to the truck and gave them the number. They called, and then she sent another driver out to bang on my truck while I was waiting for a response to get me to come back in for my door assignment. I went back in, and she yelled "Door 20". I went back out and got backed in to that door.

Then I waited for another several hours until I was down to 5:30 on my 14. I messaged back in and told them that enough was enough, that I am dropping the trailer and at least going to get something to eat. Support services replied with the standard "If the customer is OK with that, go ahead." I replied back with "I don't care if they're ok with it or not, because I have been sitting here for hours now, and I've watched a total of seven other trucks come in, park, check in, back in, get loaded, and leave, and I'm not sitting here all night because a clerk is throwing a hissy fit." The reply I received a few minutes later was priceless. It said "The number you gave us that was working a few hours ago is now no longer in service. Go ahead and drop the trailer and take your break wherever you were planning to. What do you want to do about your other loads?" I replied asking him if he would call me, and he did. We spent the next 40 minutes or so try to find a way to get my subsequent loads to work, and neither of us could find a way without CS having to move a lot of appointments.

So, I dropped the trailer right there in the door and left. I'm back home in Fort Worth now with Thursday wasted. Four days left in the week and I've only made about $375 total for the week. Now I'm scouring the load board in an attempt to try to at least break even for the week. Have no idea if I'll even pull that off.

At least you got someone to work with you. It sucks that the rest of your week was trashed because of some witch's bad attitude.

Where in FW? I graduated from Richland HS about 100 years ago, and still have family there...

Yep poo 💩 happens. Nothing worse then getting to a customer to only find out the task is changed or the weight is different..
