I work for koch and my last check waa $200. Just like all the other companies they are hiring new drivers while we starve. What bill can you pay with $200?

    Hey Dynamic,
Sorry to hear about your difficulties with Koch. Have you said anything to your FM/DM about the short check? I can only hope that things pick up for you. I am curious about what board you run though; are you dedicated or do you run OTR? Huge difference in the consistency in miles, as well as the extra stop pay you get on the BB and Polaris boards. You might try getting on one of those to help your money situation. old and broken

I dont know about other peoples experiences with these people but mine have been horrorable. I've been here for a little over 4 months and I gave them my 2 weeks last week while I was home which means they could still run me for 9 more days & get me back to Mn. so they run me for 2 and now I sit in truck stop AGAIN with plenty of hours to work. I have been 100% on time and never said no to anything they asked me to do. I very easily could have said your equip.is in Phila come get it and started my new job on Monday like they wanted. I acted like a professional, but they are acting like kids and are gonna make me pay I guess. They say they'll pay you for this and that but then make you jump thru hoops to get it, if you get it at all right now over my time they owe me about $400.00. your request will be ignored. Mine often were, my DM is a clown there are some good ones but mine wasn't one of em. IF you need to get home on a certain date FORGET THAT !!! put in for a couple days sooner and maybe and I mean maybe you'll get home on time then they try to BULLY you to come back early out of 4 + months I requested to be home 3 times for a total of 10 days and NEVER got home on time THEY DO NOT WANT YOU HOME.. I guess I'm more disappointed in the fact they really don't give a flying F about you, out of 20 years driving and another 15 just working I've never had a company who made you beg for what was owed. Its your choice ppl They were supposed to be one of the better company's out there in my oppion they are not. I don't know what else I could've done to succeed here. Good luck to all hope this was helpful. Again just my experience with them Tom.:biggrin_25522::biggrin_25522: Just wanna add I Asked a better DM if I could get on his board and I did but the damage was already done. I already had another job just had to meet the guy.

I am going to Orientation on May 27th. If they work you as good as they treat you for orientation it going to be a good experience. I am very impressed with the fact that I'm being flown to orientation rather then the dreaded bus ride. The motel they put you up in looks awesome too. The part I am looking forward to is the weekly home time. I will be on the Midwest regional account. I'm so looking forward to this job. I don't want to have to be gone from home 2 or 3 weeks at a time if I don't have too. I haven't ask the recruiter but do we get our own rooms at orientation or do we share?

You'll share 3 to a room and lunch is provided. Pbandj sands and soft drink. If you like turkey or ham upgrade it's a extra charge 4.95 and what's nice is they will let you charge it to your first check. Bunkhouse style lodging so you can build repor with your fellow drivers. Good luck
