These guys are GREAT, very reputable, have dealt with them several times. They will do everything required to set things right in case you receive a faulty product. If your ever on I-5 in Oregon you can go to their shop and there is a truck stop close by to where they will deliver your product if needed. Also remember, Oregon no sales tax. I would recommend them whole heartedly.

Here's some pics. We actually have two holes in the wall. But we only use one to pull trucks into.
Sometimes we do installs outside when the weather is nice (like now.) During the winter, inside. We stock our inventory (unlike most facade web "sites") and do our own in-house support on everything on top of what the manufacturer does (if we aren't the actual manufacturer.)
We fabricate lighter stuff, but we don't work under the hood.
A mile south of Exit 233 on the I-5 in Oregon. After a trip to play in the big sandbox with Saddaam and 11 years at Intel - I kinda like things the way they are... 4500 sq feet of veteran-owned small business man...
<extra> I threw in the picture of the bald eagle that landed in the field to munch down a rabbit on Memorial Day weekend, because that's just too awesome not to...Last edited: May 28, 2014

2. Plug it into a computer and register the lifetime maps (you can install the app for Windows or Mac here: http://www.randmcnally.com/support/s/dock-software)
3. Check and see if the "update available" light is lit green and run the update if so.
4. Turn it off and then disconnect it from the computer (in that order)
Turn it on and make sure to set for your truck:
A. height, weight, length, width (hazmat type if that's what you haul)
B. "Freeways" to either "Use all - it will use Interstates or State highways" or "prefer - it will go out of its way to use interstates."
C. Your preference on whether to use or avoid toll roads
D. "Fastest" - uses sometimes a longer route to avoid going through towns. Usually the better setting for long-haulers. Or "shortest" - it will uses smaller truck-legal roads, but that means through towns sometimes instead of around.
E. Set the log update status to "Main menu buttons" if you don't want it to automatically count down your log hours every day, or "Auto" if you do.
There's the world's fastest TND setup guide out of the box to get started properly. LOTS of other more minor tweaks in there that don't affect the actual routing like those do.
Check again for an update with the computer next month because there is a big one right around the corner coming.
Call me with any tips and tricks questions now or ever with it.Last edited: Jul 25, 2014
