Sorry about ur bad experience at AD Transport redhawkdriver that can happen with any company but all I gotta say is my time at AD Transport has been positive when any issues arise o talk to Tom a supervisor and he takes care of any issues. Also for anybody complaining about running illegal here all I can tell you is go to Elogs then that won't happen. Anyone tell a perfect company?

Everything doesn't always go perfectly but that's how trucking is , as far as AD transport goes I feel like I have been treated fine in the 4 and a half years I have been here. I think the people here are pretty easy to get along with. All they ask is to run the loads on time and not damage the equipment and you are left alone. I get layover without even asking automatically when I have to sit like this weekend because of a holiday. I do live not far from their yard in Michigan so I never have a problem getting home and when my truck needs maintenance I just go home , so that helps. And I also am really a driver here. I have had quite a few other opportunities to go somewhere else lately but things are still working well here so I don't have any plans to leave for now.

Something is fishy here with these so called drivers coming out of no where to defend this company.
I just looked up AD Transport and there's like 10 of them. None of them in MI. What's the DOT # of this company?
If it's this one, 1793318, not good. This is Brownsville, TX tho

AD Transport Express
Canton, MI
USDOT # 296052generallee Thanks this. -
Ahh, My bad. Left out the express. Not good especially for a company hauling hazmat. The nature of the vehicle violations are disturbing for a hazmat carrier. Speeding excessively appears to be a prerequisite to drive there. I'd be inclined to believe the OP here as well given what I see below. Not a company I would want to be associated with that's for sure. Safety and compliance seems to be of no concern and another intervention is most likely coming their way.

Steel Dragon and scitechsuperfreak Thank this. -
Yes agree safety rating isn't the best here but AD Transport is still a good company to work for.

I have no regrets walking away from ADtransport ,it was very clear to me in the beginning that 500 escrow was indeed a self serving company policy of AD transport not to mention a 10 hr day of orientation UNPAID ! ....im sorry AD but this is not welfare ....i drive for my family ,AD should KNOW rhis ! my time and efforts are the tools behind my handshake , don't hand me this sir ....see ya pal !!! ...then gary said " you will never work for AD transport " ...i then answered ....YES i know because i made that choice not you sir ...i have nothing against AD , as a professional driver of Detroit auto frght .....god is good
jamesdchamp Thanks this. -
The escrow we're supposed to get back when we quit. While I don't agree with the escrow only $25 is taken out each week and yes orientation is only one day sucks not getting paid but not too big a deal. I make good m9ney here and get home weekly. Anyone knows a better company around Canton, MI please tell me.

Yeah I can't blame you for wanting to be home daily if I could make what I make just being home weekends I'd love that but I can't complain really. I hope every trucker finds the job they're looking for.
