    Could it be blowing combustion back through an injector tip??

    Well if it's clogging filters in 3 days then you have a problem somewhere in the tanks or lines going to the filters.

    That's what I thought but he says the fuel lines have been replaced.I still think its crappy fuel.

    its probaly aspertine or whatever its called. Cummings sells an adtitive that will clear it right up. Now if its algey, you may have bigger problems.

    If its asphaltenes, it will keep coming back until you treat it with the stuff from commings.

    Why will it clear up when we change injector o rings?? Then 2-3 weeks later it's back to same thing...

    I'm no mechanic, but maybe its getting stuck on the rings. You replace them and it works right untill the asphaltenes clocks um up again.

    Changed filters today...cleaned tanks best I could not too much in there...filled with fuel...treated for algae...and getting the stuff from cummins when they open in the AM...we will see what happens really don't want to pull injectors again if I don't have too...will keep posted thanks for all the help..keep the suggestions coming

    if its not slimy, its prob asphaltenes....algae is norm slimy.
