thx mark I deleated the "logs" in the system files on the tnd 500 and a user database file , ran the new dock software diagnosis/repair of my tnd 500 then updated (wich only updated my walmart poi's) oddly enough. but it is now functioning again. now to find my box this came in to see if it had a claim for updated maps etc but im happy its back in business.
*edit after seeing your post above*
and yeah at some point I may grab the wheel again but for now I got a "toy" that don't have a speedo in it so was just goin use this to judge my speed a lil better than listening to the motor rev.
I called tech support and they where kind enough to offer a exchange for new discount price but would not offer any "tech support" on this device just said to replace so had to do it on my own to get it working again. glad the website has a new dock software readily available or id'a been real frustrated. -
Since you have the external SD Card, this would be a "B" model and 2009 would have been the year. I don't believe LTM's were ever offered to the "B" model.
Thanks,
MarkShin Dig Thanks this. -

"C" and "E" you had to buy the Map update card.
x10's some promo's were LTM upon purchase, no promo you had to purchase the LTM's.
x20's some promo's, 720's LTM now. I would have to check on the 520's.
Thanks,
Mark -
Hope this hasn't been answered somewhere else in this thread. I wasn't about to search through 700 pages lol.
I have the 720 model. I've had it for a few months now and it's only been doing this for a few weeks. I've docked, updated, repaired and looked at every setting I can think of with no luck.
Here's the issue. I can start the day, resetting driver values, or letting it do it automatically, doesn't matter. I'll start driving, and all is fine untill I stop for whatever reason. Once I start driving again, after 5 minutes or so, it tells me that's the end of my driving day. Doesn't matter if I've driven 8 hours or 8 minutes.
It also has some routing issues. Most of the time when I stop at a truck stop close to a town, instead of taking me a block back to the interstate, it wants me to loop through town. Now granted, I ignore it, and as soon as I turn towards the interstate, it corrects itself, but that's beside the point. -
Sounds like a routing issue going out of the truck stop. Can you give me the info on the Truck Stop?
Thanks,
Mark -
Thanks,
Mark
