Wow, that's almost exactly like me, although I have benefits and recently turned 52. Coushy job, don't work very hard and my compensation is usually in the high 90s. Still, I am bored with IT Sales and want to do something for ME.

i deliver food all over the country no one cares or thanks me
they just give me the finger because i am in their way

as i was shopping one day in walmart
woman in front of me in line complaining about the trucks in the parking lot
so i says I just brought those limes in your basket here an hour ago
she said no more

 

Who knows,maybe some white color folks say the same things about drivers that decide they wanna get out of trucking.I wouldn't mind being a desk jocky for awhile,anything but driving trk would suit me right now.

 

Only thing about trucking that changes is the day.
