This company is a great company if you don't want very many miles. They tell and advertise they have no loads over 500 miles. All other loads are preloaded on trailers and dropped at rail yards...They dispatch 1-500 mile loads with 2-3 day delivery time. They will not update delivery time and make you sit a day or two until delivery time...
I worked there for a year just so It would not show me jumping jobs... Most people I dealt with have a attitude and treat you like a bum.. They have no respect for any driver. They kept me up north in the winter on purpose and told me there are no loads west or south. I tried over and over again to try and work it out with whatever problem they had and could not figure out why they could not give me the miles.. I finally took their truck back to the terminal in Ga. took a cab and went to the bus station. Nobody can tell me they are a good company... They are total idiots.. I have 37 years of driving background and this is the worst company I have ever seen.. Do you're self a favor
and find another place to work.. You will be way ahead of the game.. Trust me.. Thanks drivers for reading...![]()

So who are they that you speak of OTR driver?
-
500miles in three days isnt bad
especially if you are of those "go slow, make more dough" drivers
you can sit in the middle lane all day, block up everyone else and brag about how great fuel mileage you are getting, and get the best parking spots at the truckstop before anyone else
it makes trip planning a cinchjoseph1135, BigBluePeter and x#1 Thank this. -
I will "do myself a favor", if you tell us who you're talking about. Pretty please?
-
I'm sorry. I didn't make known that it's Marten Transport out of Wisconsin.. Save you're self being poor and find any other job open...
-
Why would you even go there with 37 years of exp ??
browndawg and joseph1135 Thank this. -
Marten.... If you go into the terminal in Tucker you can see for yourself that no one in dispatch is over about 24. That should clue you in real quick. And they act like a bunch of 3 year olds too.

I love the way my 3 year old acts, think he can snag a job to make a little cash?
Redriderex Thanks this. -
