I just don't get that... Why 34 hours?? Why not 48 (so a body has an actual WEEKEND off)?? And how do you get away NOT doing a reset??

When I ran solo under the new rules I would go as long as there were loads to run without a reset. I think the longest was about six weeks without a reset. Running an average of about 8.5 hours per day will keep giving you continuous hours coming back on the 9th day. -
I never take a restart on the road, no reason to if you manage your time correctly. I just finished up my week with 2,996 miles and 13.5hrs left on my 70. I will get 9.5hrs back tomorrow night. Work smarter, not hander.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Or: the "reset" is only required if you work the max time allowed in the work week.
Is that about right? -
nightgunner and Lepton1 Thank this.

So... "rolling 8-day (or 7-day) week", as far as the present day is concerned...?
