Disk brakes have been used for a long time across the pond it's standard equipment over there. Less weight better stopping easier maintenance.

The 6x2 is the norm over there also. As one manufacturer said us drivers don't like change. Maybe as the older drivers retire the Gen X and beyond drivers will accept change.

18 years still enjoying driving. But yeah I'll die driving truck. Just hope the next 20 years trucks get better. Cascadia is nice but interior is same style better material then 1994 fld I started in.

I found out yesterday a couple of years ago (2011ish) SNI bought two dozen tractors with disc brakes. Who knew?
