Been running for three days. Up to Albany OR yesterday and now headed back to Fontana CA for 2 d/h's tmrw. Then over to Phoenix for Monday for a d/h then a live load going up to SLC for a Wed morn live unload. Just killing time and making money until the 15th when I go back to the house for four days to do the big move.
    Carry on.....

When I took possession of the truck the APU worked. It crapped out in the first 30 days, so SFI covered 50% of the cost to repair.

Gotta love showing up for your appt window from 9-12 at 8:30 and being told your appt is at 11. Get it right Schneider! How hard is this?

It's apparently extremely hard, and not just for Schneider. My load that was supposed to be ready at 0600 yesterday was pulled out of the dock at 2000. I stayed at the shipper, rolled about 0400 in order to miss traffic, and parked at 1100. I will roll about 0400 tomorrow, 427 miles to my delivery. Enjoying the day with Boychild, getting in some 2 wheel therapy...he has a 2 wheel conveyance now, picked it up yesterday evening.

I had one the other day that said it was a 10am and it was a 10pm, or last week, I pick up a run that is going to miss its live load appointment, but I am told to carry on and they will reset it. I don't hear another word. I get to the consignee and find out the new appointment is Monday at 8am(it was Friday at 1pm, btw). I call my dbl and get to carry the load 70 miles back the way I came to drop it on a yard. Gotta wonder how they make any money sometimes?

Just wanted to say thanks to you and all the other drivers on here for your open and honest observations on the company. As I narrowed down my choice to my top 3 companies, reading not only this thread, but your "Confessions of a Schneider Newbie" along with Dieselfuelonly and atruckr threads to name just a few, helped me make my decision. These threads give newbies a honest expectation of what may/will happen on the road. Also helped tremendously to see if Schneider will be a good fit for me. Someplace to stay awhile.
