my asus 10 inch has no problem CHARGING while being used as gps. slower, yes. but stock charger still charges.

my samsung note 2 sprint phone has no problem using an aftermarket charger AND wire while my verizon note 2 is also plugged into that same aftermarket charger and wire. it has 3 usb plugs and charges them both just fine. AND runs a cooling fan for my sprint phone as i use that for my gps now.

if you all are going to start smoking crack. how about sharing the love with the rest of the forum.

i don't think any of us have had to buy some type of super duper amp booster.

    Doing some quick math here....
    Copilot $150
    Mount $40-50
    Charger $20-30?
    Total $220-250??

Rand McNally $240 after rebates.... if they send the cheque to a Canadian address

RM likely has better audio than my tablet as well. Smaller screen however.

Besides. RM has better software support than CoPilot.

Doubt me? Give them a call and ask for help. You will be sorry....................

Don't post that link anymore on the forum.

Anyone that has clicked on his link or visited page 7 you need to run a Malware scan and remove it.

No one visit page 7 until I can get this resolved. I'll let you know when it's safe.

    Okay it's safe now.

Tallman that Malware was attached to them photos you uploaded from that site.

Again anyone that been to that page with the photos go ahead and run a Malware removal scan.

It was on page 7 but since I done some deleting it's skeleton soft delete is on page 6, but it's harmless now.

Well I will contact this company and inform them
that your saying they have malware on the pics. Strange though because I did scan it all and no malware to be found. Is this by chance because of so RM tech saying I am spamming just because I am recommending a better navigation unit?

The TND will route you on the road that you have set your parameters for. If you put 48'96" then this is Non-STAA and it will route you on those roads. If you put 33k, then it will route you on anything that is 33k+. It all depends on what you set for the parameters as in any truck GPS.

Also be aware it will only pull the current that is available from the socket you plug into. For instance, if the socket is rated for 20amps, then the most the sum of all devices can pull is 20amps.

If you have a single device that pulls 2amps, then only 2amps will be drawn. Current is additive in a parallel circuit, voltage stays the same across all legs.
