I believe that when Logistics books a load they take their % out then pass it on to National to be dispatched to us and National takes their % out of what Logistics gives it to National for then we get whats left. I think that's why theirs a separation between the companies to cover their BUTTS.

Sorry chicknwing when I click the picture my screen goes blank. I am with you on this.... I wasn't trying to defend SNI I was just saying how it was explained to me. I have never understood SNI math as with the HHMG miles they pay sometimes it's 50% or more OOR when it's short miles they list. I understand back in the day HHMG was the standard but you and I both know logistics is billing practical not HHMG or else SNI would go out of business. As to the numbers you posted I can only guess they took the load and converted it from practical which is how they booked it and converted it to HHMG and adjusted the rate that way. It's wrong It's wrong and wish we could change it.

Why is it even when I separate the sentences in my posts they always show up as one big post?

I'm not leaving sni. I like what I do. I just am in agreement with chickenwing, life here isn't all peaches and sunshine. When you've spent half a day looking for an empty or have your load pulled to be loaded in a company truck then you may understand.
I do hope your experience is different and I apologize for hijacking your thread!!russellkanning Thanks this. -
My figures show National taking 13%.
507.78 / 87% = 583.66 x 65% = 379.78 -

looks like Logistics gets 36.5 % before anyone
