I dont run it a lot. Frankly, I hate going up there. I would rather drive in LA. I was up through there right before Christmas and it took 8 hours from the time I got on the TP, until I got past the last toll in NY. And I think 2 of those hours were approaching the bridge and getting across.

 

I seem to remember the driver of this accident being deemed at fault although he was rear ended by another driver, who unfortunately passed away

They had to blame somebody... that was still alive.

 

Thats not true nowadays dont believe me call your insurance company just had a safety meeting about this subject use to be but NOT no more depends on the circumstance!

After seeing this posting reach 616 responses in 4 days, I will admit that I have not read them all. However, I would like to add that I doubt there is anything I can add to this discussion. I will therefore simply wish all of you safe and healthy journeys. There is no freight worth dying or causing someone to die for.

 

we are all truck drivers here. we all know that they always try to blame us for anything that happens in a wreck no matter whose at fault. this is a bad deal for everyone involved. there are no winners here so why dont we as fellow drivers give this guy his due process and wait utnil all the facts come in. he has already stated he was not up for 24 hrs and he was in compliance on the obc. so maybe there is more to this story. as we all know there is a chance that someone cut him off causing him to swerve into the other vehicles, there are a ton of different scenarios that could have happened here. i would think as fellow truckers we would be the last to past judgement so quickly.

 

No just pointing out the obvious. You are as culpable as me.

Perhaps you did not read the rest of the post and are not familiar with the internet. It is all out their already. Pointing that information out is more than I did; My intent was to point out no other official evidence has been submitted against this guy. I hope you get that.
