so do you think that a Prime driver is prime for boredom and road hypnosis?

apparently the only areas that Prime can speed through is construction zones and truck stops and small town 35 mph zones.

I must be serious for a moment(not that i am not ordinarily). How do Prime drivers tolerate that low of a top speed? has Prime truly become a 0-3 month experience type atmosphere?

ANY driver that says they are able to not get piissed at only being able to run 65 or below is a liar.It does not matter how much of a fuel bonus they supposedly receive or whatever,to only be able to run 65 or below is a stress builder and that driver does get aggravated and po'ed at that slow speed. having to stay in that slow truck cluster for extended periods will contribute to burnout and boredom and road hypnosis. If not, they are on some type of meds to prevent it.

If you're going 55, then you're not stuck in a slow truck cluster, you're probably leading it. I've actually thought about how that might feel, to do 55 all day. I kinda think I might like it, less stressful.

Last I heard, Prime paid 38 CPM for students right out of training, 43 if you take a light weight truck. I don't know how much their rates increase, but that's good money for a student/first year. That doesn't include the fuel bonus.

Eh, I got used to the 60mph my bus would go... It was after work, when I got into my car, that the speeding became a problem...

The way I keep road boredom to a minimum is I'm writing a novel, doing it all in my head and memorizing it.

Problem is I keep rewriting chapter one.

You could listen to talk radio. You have to actively listen to what they are saying so it helps you stay alert.
