Just curious About how many hours a week you are getting at halliburton. I'm going through the hiring process go for my screening Monday. I'm hired on as operator assistant cementing through zanesville. Thanks alot
-
I won't start until August 19th because I'm graduating college but the guys where I'll be working at inin Pennsylvania said we will average 70 hours a week but they have worked as many as 217 hours in a two week period. I also interviewed for a frac position and the manager who interviewed me said zainesville is going to really ramp up operations within the next year so if I were you I wouldn't be worried about hours. If I may ask, what step of the hiring process are at? I just have my medical stuff to do and then I'm good to go.Seattle206 and Jayb247956 Thank this.

I have the medical stuff to do Monday. Then after that I get my start date then I go to homer city pa for training. Thanks for letting me know about the hours I'm leaving a job with higher hourly rate to come here hoping for more hours. I left there also because halliburton is paying for my cdl's which is great. Thanks again

Ok cool. Good luck with everything and maybe I will see you out there

Yeah sounds good. I'll let you know what's going on once I start too. Do you know how much per diem is a day by any chance?
-
Sounds good. I know I'm anxious to get out there and start making money. I was told per diem is $32 a day which comes out to an extra $11k a year I believe.Jayb247956 and Seattle206 Thank this.

Going to an interview for cementing in elmendorf... Do u guys have info of what the hourly rate is and rotation schedule.
-
I don't know about out there but in the east you start at 13.50 an hour and the schedule is 2 weeks on, 1 off. The guys who interviewed me said within the first year they moved up to over 20 an hour so it's not that much of a big deal. Plus HR told me that most of the guys in the 1st year make 60-70k and then 6 figures by the 2nd or 3rd year. Hope that helpsIrishTankerYanker2B Thanks this.
