1. Last day with any on duty time do as normal.
2. First day with NO on duty time at all out the line all the way across line 1 midnight to midnight. Put in remarks section "Off Duty City,State mm/dd/yy (day of log) to mm/dd/yy (last day with NO on duty time)
3. Next log sheet dated for first day back on duty with any on duty time.
Do it this way and you're legal without having to do 5 or 6 different 24 hour off duty log sheets.harlycharly55, GenericUserName, Numb and 1 other person Thank this. -
This is the type of thing you should learn in school or at the very least covered in an initial log class or orientation/ new hire training.
Shaggy Thanks this. -

Reminds me of the people at mega orientations, The instructor waste everyones time ( 3 hours ) explaining basics to one person. -
the only caveat to this is if your off duty time is 2 different months you need 2 different log sheets
off noon 6/29 log normal
off 6/30 to 7/3 at noon
you need a sheet for 6/30 , 6/31 off duty
another for 7/1 , 7/2 off duty
7/3 you log normalharlycharly55, gpsman, GenericUserName and 3 others Thank this. -
