Depends on the company. Mavericks average is 52.5 with most weekends home for 1st year drivers.

So long as the company has the freight to move and you are willing to put in the work, it is totally realistic to see 40-50K. I made just under 43K my first yr at Maverick. But you just dont look at the pay as strictly mileage pay. As most companies do, there is supplemental pay as well that contributes to your yearly gross. Most of the good companies that actually care about a driver have: stop pay, hourly layover pay, safety bonuses & fuel bonuses. And flats have additional tarping pay. Granted it isnt much ($20-$30 depending on company) but it adds up over the course of a year. Most importantly, take every load you get assigned so long as you got the hours, no matter how bad they suck #$$. You start refusing loads you arent going to make any money cause your DM isnt gonna bother finding good loads for you.

And if you get into the position to become a driver mentor/trainer and have the patience and can trust someone else to drive your truck and not wreck you when you are sleeping, you can make a ton of money. I could never do it myself, I dont trust other people driving (I've been in far too many accidents as a passenger).
