Just my two cents; I almost bought a former Maverick truck. The deal breaker was the fact it was a mid roof and adding an air dam on top was cost prohibitive (I pull reefer). I thought those trucks looked very well maintained. Anyway, the 2008 KW I used to own leaked like a sieve around the sleeper during a hard rain. Everybody brags on KW but I wasn't impressed with that truck at all. I'd take the Cascadia all day and you have a lot more service options with the Freightliner than KW, especially with a hired hand in it.

t660 has tripack and bunk heater. Cascadia has park smart or some other bs. I'd install a tripack on it.

    I'd go with the T-660.

I was in a condo; while it was in the shop they put me in a flat top. I liked it better and the company let me stay in it. Actually, did that with two different companies. I've never liked condo's.

For some reason I was thinking the Cascadia was a condo. I'd go with the Cascadia if I was driving it or buying it.

The redesigned the mirrors on the EVO so the wiper spray doesn't end up all over the mirror. I seen an attachment on an older Cascadia that looked like it was a solution for older trucks. Not sure if it was aftermarket or oem.

Personally, I'd go with the K-Whopper. I drove a Condo Frightliner for a while, and it was a nice truck, but was really hard to work on, and I wasn't too impressed with the dealer network(A/C condenser backordered in May, c'mon). Lot's of little stuff would go wrong on Freightliner, A/C( not really Freightliners fault, wipers(That was fun getting at that) cruise quit working, air adjustable steering column hose came off(another fun job). Had friends with KW's and always had good luck with them. ( however, nuts to all that, give me a Pete anyday!)

Cascadia hands down. More comfortable interior that is laid out in a way that makes sense, MUCH tighter turning radius, easy clutch (no "clutch leg"), and quieter. My head is still healing from all the times I whacked my skull getting in and out of a T-660 months ago. I now hate KW's and trying to get out of this T-700 I'm stuck with for now.

This KW has the "quiet cab" package lol. But yea the head room in front is a concern. I'm leaning to the t660, because I also own an older raided room Columbia. If they dont like the newer kw with the headroom they can drive the Columbia with huge amounts of room. (although a cascadia is nicer then Columbia) Columbia is a 13 speed though, and many don't know how to drive 13's.

From a driver's perspective, I'd go with the Cascadia. The tighter turning radius makes it easier to get in and out of the parking space at the truck stop.

Cascadia hand down. Bigger cab, Ultrashift, and bigger fuel tanks.

Hi MsJamie, I think you are right. The F-liner is a little more "driver friendly". The Columbia I drove was a lot easier to get around, where the "large car" takes a little more patience. I did the work on the Freightliner, and that was where my problems came in, that and my Pete's were just cooler!:biggrin_25525:
