Speed enforced by aircraft what does this really mean

    Indeed drivers....the Fox division in Houston is grounded for the most part. They use the Hughes 500 to chase bad guys but now it's only in the most extreme cases. They stay on the ground until needed which is really no good by any definition.

    My numbers are very old but a wet Piper was $50 / hr and a Jet Ranger was over $200 / hr. I'll say a Hughes with 2 pilots is over $500 / hr now.

    Years ago in ca. I talk to a bear in air while trucking north on 5. He had his dog w/ him and was a few thousands feet above us.

    an f16 is patroling the freeway and will blow away anybody going over the speed limit.the most effective way

    Back in the early 80's when I drove north and south on Hi-5 also talk to a "Bear in the Air" around 198 Harris ranch area. They had a short landing strip there at that steak house.
