    Hi,
I'm finishing up my training at North American Trade Schools in Baltimore, MD, and I recently received a pre-hire letter from Schneider National. During my phone interview, and after being asked what type of driving I was interested in, I was offered a regional position delivering for Sears (5 days on 2 home per week). It sounded great, I accepted the offer, and just would like to please get some feedback on this type of dedicated run for a someone new to trucking.

    Thanks

For yers I have had hard feelings for Stevens, said I changed jobs too much, but realize if they hadn't turned me down I would never have owned the Largecar.:yes2557: My bro, in TL at Schneider, is going to apply to the glass division. He.s going to Laredo, stopping at Mem, tonite and Dal tomorrow nite. If ya see Turtle tell him his bro sent ya and he's buying.

Be aware that having your CDL already doesnt mean anything to Schneider. If you do not pass their road test, you must go through the entire training academy at full cost. :yes2557:

This is true unless you have graduated from an accredited driving school within the last 90 days. If that is the case, you still take the driving test. If you fail, they put you through the two week course at no cost and start paying you $450/week training pay. If you pass, the same is true except you only have to go through the one week experienced course. Hope this helps.

Does anyone have any experience or information on being an owner operator with Schneider? are they treated as well as company drivers? How does the pay compare etc.
    Thanks.
