Can you give more details?
-
A backing accident ? Or a sharp right turn ?
-
My first and only fender bender happened 2 weeks after I went solo. I hit a pole while backing and crunched the right front.
I've been oh so careful ever since.
Don't beat yourself up over it. Just learn from it.hawkjr, Skydivedavec, Stile and 3 others Thank this. -
I was coming into a Pilot parking lot. It was a left turn and the truck was a little behind the last parked legally truck. I broke out his driver headlight.

And your worried about what?
Your company didn't fire you by the sounds of it, and now you're ready to slow down, take your time but above all; question your actions and lend more judgement to the situations you're put into.
Everyone here has screwed up, whether they admit it or not.
I mean, look at me! I'm made of failures and flaws! My being here is little more than a bad decision on my moms end! Ha
Live, learn and move on.
But if you ever get sad about your failures, just remember; you're a speck of humanity in an ocean of nothing. Your screw up today will likely go unremembered for eternity. Anyone having an existential crisis, yet?BigBluePeter, gpsman, OPUS 7 and 5 others Thank this. -
Moosetek13 and Shovelhead78 Thank this.

True. Well it just happened so I don't know if I will be let go.
-
Cost was, IIRC $300 to get a wrecker out and pull me off. Then another $150 in labor, plus my company had to cover the labor costs of the county coming out and checking that a sewer line underneath was undamaged which had to cost a bit.
A situation similar to yours; but mine cost more. I wasn't let go, I wasn't even scolded. This was with FFE and they're a larger company, no less.
You might be after a writeup, but most companies fire on the spot when it comes to letting guys go for accidents (from what I hear.)
