Okay see i really like starbucks. Like im addicted to the stuff. Im pretty sure a 12 step program is in order. But in the meantime its difficult finding parking near one, usually. If i park on the far right lane next to starbucks with my emergency lights on for max 5-10 mins should i run into any problems with cops? I have been doing it for the past few weeks with success but i want to make sure im not just getting lucky and risking a ticket or worse.

Why are you going to Starbucks in a big truck? If you really want the West Coast cuppa joe, go hit the PA turnpike. They have a few out there, and some major truck stop chains have started carrying them, and caribou coffee.

Stay outta places you aren't sure about, that you don't absolutely have to go to! This is part of what other drivers mean, when they say "Stay safe" to one another. It means not going to get a cup of coffee in a semi. Buy the crap they keep in the freeze at the truck stops!

Yeah ive been resorting to the truck stop starbucks coffees but they just arent the same. Okay i will stop doing it. I just want to do things right and when i asked my trainer he reassured me that its not a big deal and he even does it. But he is also a thief and a liar and driving on a suspended license.

Good luck driver. Dont sweat busting a head light.

Tonight, you probably wont sleep well but, in a few days, you'll be fine. It'll all be over :)

If you're just popping in and out for a cup of coffee to go, there will usually be a larger store or shopping center nearby that has loading docks. Where there are loading docks, there is truck access. Where there is truck access, there will be somewhere that you can stash your truck for 5-10 minutes where it's out of everyone's way and actually looks like it belongs there. You might have to walk a few hundred yards, but that's how it is.

Carry a clipboard with some old BOLs on it to make it look official.

If you see a sign that says no semis allowed,no trk parking ect, that also means no bobtails.Chances are the business may end up calling the cops.Might get a ticket as well.If you're not in your trk you might get towed.I know some Walmarts will do that because they don't want trucks period on their property unless where trk parking is.So do everyone a favor and please read signs and respect them.
