I had this same issue in my truck…….check to see if your lights will come on……if you turn key, does your dash say something about the VCU and or give the code?

Turns out it was the line from battery to ECU….had to take it off the battery/clean it, and re connect

Ouch Bro! looks like ECU failure. A bad processor/circut board or bad wiring has shutdown control of all engine functions...is there a roadsquad nearby?

Did you check the fuse on the wire out of batteries ? If is gone bypass it connect it direct until you get to shop.

At this point I have checked al the wires from the battery and clean all contacts, also made a few phone calls and all indicate that the ECM is not getting any juice. Two positive in and two grounds for the ECU with out proper tools loose cause.

If the fuse is burnt, there is a short. You really need a ohm/volt meter to check conductivity before hotwiring the power. Bypassing a fuse on a ECU is highly risky and requires schematics as there are dozens on wires going in and out of the ECU. On the firewall should be the power block coming from the relay box to the fuse box, there should be two fuese (low current 5 amp for microprocessors) , printed ECU, one goes to the ecu power supply and one for the ecu battery backup. I ssumed you checked these already, correct?

I had a 2007 Volvo that would start but no lights or gauges, all the fuses were ok! The problem was a bad cuircut board on the main fuse panel in the dash....had to replace the whole fuse box.
