Super trucker, the way it's flung around on this forum I am not sure if it's an insult or compliment. I hope to be a good hand some day like a few I looked up to growing up. FWIW I have had a few long days, followed by late nite flites burning cow truck lites. Course I had to get right for the flite back then. I done my share of trashing but have always dropped what I put on when and where I was supposed to intact. I'm glad the hard days are behind me, but I do miss some of the people and the way things were. I can remember a time about every body thought my ol rig was cool. Now they say super trucker. Lol

Lol on the Colonial. There use to be lots of produce going to the Knoxville produce market. What a busy place that market was. There was even a supermarket warehouse (White Store then Mid-Mountain Foods) down there. It's all gone today how ever.

    I delivered apples to Mid-Moutain.
I liked those peanut loads from the Carolinas to West Texas, mainly because of the beautiful Mexican women working in the peanut processing plants. They were really nice and fun to talk to & look at.

Wow, calling that a supertrucker, amazing, back in the day we did them west coast turn arounds. And we never though of our self as a supertrucker, we felt we were just being truck drivers doing our job.

That one driver just got caught doing that. He would doctor his BOL's to match the log book. Most of us did that; carried package of blank BOL's and write up a new one to match the "other" log book. I'm getting a headache just thinking about it.
