I have always enjoyed some songs on bagpipes this is definitely one that I like.

 

Why do we even bother to celebrate the 4th of July
anymore? This country isnt free anymore. In my
lifetime its turned into a socialist oligarchy. If the
people of this country dont stand up soon and
demand our constitutional rights be "respected"
than the future will be very grim for all of us. I think it was Benjamin Franklin who once said
That a people who are willing to trade away
their freedom for security will end up with neither
security or freedom.

Kind of looks like mine when I did it last summer in KS when I was with GTI. Knocked me out for a day or two...and soldiered on with it until February this year and found that I had an avulsion fracture in it. Been battling with it ever since and still wearing a brace from time to time which stops pronation and supination in my foot, when it is at its worst. Probably go back to the Doc when I get home again and see where I go from here. Don't make the mistake I did with mine, I pretty much ignored it and I have a sneaking suspicion I could end up having to have surgery on it!

 

Doc says lateral ankle ligament tear. Will be back in 2 weeks to decide if surgery is needed to repair. Looking at 3-6 month recovery

 

Thats a real bummer getting injured so bad you can't work for that long. I am sure you will have a
job waiting for you at SEC when you are able to go
back to work again. Good luck and a speedy and
full recovery to you.

The next time someone comes up to you and tells
you their hard luck story and asks you for money
consider this. Last night this guy walks up to my truck and starts to give me his hard luck story about waiting to get his truck repaired, the hungry
kids at home, etc... I immediately recognized this
was the same guy that bummed some money off
of me the last time I was here three years ago! He even was using the same story to bum money.
I told him I rememberd him and he just turned around and walked off. What a scam some of
these people have going to get your money. I will never give another penny away in a Truckstop.
By the way this guy is working the Flying J at exit
#64 on I-45 in Houston. He needs a U Joint for his truck and simalac milk for his hungry baby.LOL
