+1. I'm not a narc, but leaving biohazardous crap lying around has to stop. Neither I nor any other civilized person does that, and AFAIC, it stops whenever I see it happening.

    Good call, GasHauler.

Why can't these b%#*t@rds go to a camping supply store or Wally World and purchase a freakin' porta-potty? You can get them for under a $100 and they have "casettes" you pull out and empty, no mess, no problem.:biggrin_2554:

Bwahahaha. Sounds like a Cheetos commercial. I can hear Chester saying, "Northstarfire, that is his truck..." Hahahaha. Only instead of Cheetos it's urine. Heh.

Just to answer the hyperbole from earlier - this kind of behavior is NOT taught at the school I attended - and the subject DID come up. The response was - correctly, dispose of it properly.

For MY money, the stuff should be put in a big red biohazard bag (assuming it can't be flushed) and retained until it can be properly disposed of.

Who the heck knows what kind of oddball diseases any one of us may carry?

My wife is a paramedic, and pathogens - whether air or fluid born - are a serious concern for everybody.

(sure, it's *unlikely* to be an issue - but Typhoid Mary was unlikely, too)

My god, this is one of my biggest pet peeves! Here is a hint, calling the company does no good....I will admit that I narced on my own trainer because I was so disgusted by his urination habits. I know that occasionally, you gotta do what you gotta do, but for some people it's all they seem to know...you would think they forgot how to flush a toilet. I guess when you get used to pissing at 70MPH in a moving truck, those urinal cakes can get pretty tricky to aim for...LOL.

I dunno, I don't do it and my co-driver doesn't do it. We find a spot to actually get out of the truck and use the facilities for the most part...occasionally at night we might hop and exit if we are in a more remote state like Nebraska or Wyoming and "grease the exhaust," but thats the exception and not the rule.

My trainer had the bad habit of, when we would switch drivers, of always emptying his piss bottle right out the window so that when I would do my walkaround I would either step in it or have to do acrobatics to avoid it and get in the truck because of course he would switch seats immediately upon my exit and leave me to navigate the piss puddle. He had no problem with this and didn't understand why I had one.....what a turd.

I arrived at the Trailways TS in Centreville, MD late one evening. I was about too late to find a spot to park. There was one hole open on the back row, so I backed in (thankfully). After I set the brakes and made an entry into the funny-book, I called the wifey for our good night chat. While talking I lowered the window, and, PEEEYOUUU!!! what a smell. It was obviously solid waste from unknown origins. This was farmland so I dismissed it as the farmers using "natural", "organic" fertilizers in their field. Previously I've determined that the entire southern half of Ohio had been buried in cow shmidtz during spring planting season, so, what I was smelling at this truck stop, although strong, maybe wasn't anything unusual. I slept with the A/C on, and in the recycle mode.

The next morning during my walk around I discovered the source of the aroma. Some idiot had been hauling pig waste and had managed to leave a few hundred pounds of it in the parking lot. I assume it was being hauled in a dump, and, a recent rain storm had been used as a cheap wash-out.

My left rear trailer tires were still stinking two days later. I am sooooo thankful I chose to back into that hole instead of pulling in. Some days it better to be lucky than good.

My co-worker at CR England was walking in the yard when a truck drove by and ran over a bottle, splashing urin all over him. You guys who do this are disgusting and there is no excuse for it. I am a reefer mechanic and on occasion I have to climb inside a tractor to repair/install tripac. I get sick to my stomach of the smells and garbage and yes pee bottles sitting there while I am suppose to service a costomer's equipment. Another co-worker at Thermo King in Salt lake City went out to service a customer tripac and found a log sitting right there near the catwalk and against the back of the truck. I don't think a dog would've done that. From a technician point of view - If you expect royal treatment at the service center. Then clean out your rig and clean up your act!
