I have been driving for a year I have done dry van and reefer. I have never done flatbed though. EW Wiley told I would be doing this regional north Carolina home weekly 1000 sign on bonus paid 27% line haul. The terminal is 30 minutes from my house sounds pretty good don't really like the paid every other week. J&S Helwig told me I would get 40cmp paid twice a week plus a 2500 sign on bonus gotta stay out 21 days at a time. im trying to figure out which one I should go with they both sound really good. Any opinion's would be greatly appreciated thanks

Hi Tommy G. For starters, It's J.S. Helwig, not J&S. You should know the company name of a company you're applying to, right ? Anyway, J.S. Helwig (out of Rockwall, Tx) right ? was bought out by Trans-Am awhile back if I remember correctly. E.W. Wiley would be my choice if it was me. Good luck to 'Ya.

Helwig's non-compete expired and he got bored playing golf and restarted the company several years ago. He's in an expansion mode presently. Good company. They know you by name and treat you like family. Will keep you running if you like to run and can manage your time well. Their biggest draw back is their home-time policy. They want you out their working and not trying to get home every other weekend. For some, their tour requirements is a deal breaker.

Wiley may not be a bad option either. A lot may depend on where home is.
