That's just it, with JCT, they only have to look at the cheapest pump price instead of planning on buying fuel based on the fuel tax... Doesn't JCT also pay for the plate fees that cost you approx. $1600/year...

Like I said, I do think that Schneider has a better deal, but those little extras do add up to the amount you quoted that JCT pays, but I still think percentage pay is better, if you run your business right and pick good loads, with little deadhead... Something JCT drivers don't seem to worry about.. They are paid the same on mileage loaded or empty with longer runs then Schneider usually does..

Since I'm retired, still like to see what's going on in Trucking, and personally, you guys can keep those boxes, did it, but my heart was in Open-deck loads..
I ran for Schneider for awhile when they bought out International Transport back in the 80's..
Good luck on your adventure with Schneider..

Yes but but you miss the point , fuel taxes by the truck can get you a rebate if you know the system JCT pockets the credits

And as I said you missed the point .. The credit is exactly that .. So if you owe nothing they pocket the credit

And your missing the point there tag there permit there credits. So technically the lo doesn't need to worry about where he fuel. now if JCT wants that credit they'll recommend where to fuel. At sni the lo or OO has to worry about there fueling since there responsible for there Tags n permit.

When you are dispatched the company dispatching you does what is best for the company and that may mean putting you in a bad area where you might have to wait for freight. To me the Choice program means you can do whats best for you and your company. Hands down Choice is better. I was at JCT back in 09. They will do what is best for them and almost every load over 40,000 plus few drop yards and most loads are live unload and live load
