God don't you just love it, a meltdown in the cab because ... wrong fuses

Put ice in the cooler, charge your laptop and phone while driving for a couple hours - shut the laptop down and disconnect the phone when you don't need it - and plug in the cooler.

Is there binders for a CB with that truck?

You should not put higher rated fuses in electronics. They are engineered for a certain Amp. Change the fuse to a higher rated fuse only will cause the electronics to blow instead of the fuse. I run the 4/1 in my car with no issues. The cooler is drawing the most current. Put the original fuse back into the 3/1 and find another outlet for the cooler. If it is a Coleman it should have come with a DC/AC adapter. Plug it into that and then into your inverter.

    Richter Thanks this.

I did too, but I ended up putting ice in the stupid thing until I straightened up the electrical issues but then I decided to get a real fridge and put money into an Engels.

    Ok,

The cooler fuse in the plug is 8 amps.
The Rand McNally charger uses a 2.5 amp fuse
The Dashcam charger uses 2.5 amps

so if my solution won't work, where can I get a 3-in-1 or a 4-in-1 that will safely hold the amperage I want to run all 3 items?

mine didnt come with the dc/ac adapter. :( I got it for $99 at the T/A in Dallas. I've been trying to order one, but they're on backorder and no indication of when they will be back in stock.

The 3/1 and 4/1 were made for the smaller electronics not a cooler. Most cabs come with a DC outlet in the bottom cabinet for a cooler or Ref. The upper shelf has one for a TV and usually a few in the bunk area.

I got my Coleman at WalMart. It was the same price with the adapter.

    you're not listening.

I have 1 port on the dash
1 port in the sleeper (that is currently occupied by my 400W power inverter)

I dont have any storage, I don't have any shelves for tv's, food, clothes, etc. All i have are solid vinyl walls, with a bunk that lifts up and curtains. Theres no cubbyholes, nothing! I dont even have a passenger seat in my truck! It's a Super Single!

and sorry, mine was actually an igloo 12v 40qt Themochill. I accidentally said Coleman earlier, but that was wrong.

Sorry if I missed out on what you had. So when driving why not plug the cooler in the one in back? Your phone should have a DC charger you can use for the front.

You are limited in power out.

Not much can be done for your situation.
