I would call since you have to get the trailer tracker thingy ma bob installed... But usually you just show up and they either put you through express and fix your problem right away or tell you when they will get to your problem.

I would call, just to be safe. But even when I call, there is still drama. My on guard keeps failing in this new truck and I called portland to see if they could take a look at it and got and appointment for friday morning. I show up Thursday evening and get a call friday evening ," Oh our technician only does those repairs Monday through thursday only, because he has to have an OAR drive him around while he calibrate the onguard. Tough luck.*click*"
Lol my luck will never change

They say it's a priority is what IT said but who knows .. That's why I was thinking about Dallas because I can take a 34 while they him haul around and I could hit the hotel .. Was my thought process

I had that problem, had to be re-wired. Does it not show you driving and kicks you off to On-Duty? Doesn't log your miles either?

If it's the Qualcomm unit that's the problem then it is a quick fix, their pretty much plug and play (took the shop mechanic in Fontana less then 5 minutes to replace a month ago). Don't know if it'd be the unit that's causing the hos problem though.

Here's how this all went down

    1. I on boarded the truck and put on the sheet to CHANGE MY QUALCOMM WIRING . Reason is I was previously leased to a US / CANADA carrier and they used QUAL - CAN .. Which is the same thing just not the US SAT it tracked off the CANADA stuff .. I had a MCP 200 the same unit just a different set uo as mentioned .

    2. I even told the mechanic at Master Fleet this personly and wrote it on the on board sheet

    3. The mech decided it would be easier to use my existing wiring instead so he said he changed some stuff over and it's good .. I questioned it

    4. Worked fine going home went off one time is all

    5. Now it goes off at rand .. Today it works fine , tomorrow ?

    6. Seems to have shorted out my blower motor on my AC as it stays on with key off now . I was told by FL a Qualcomm can cause a back feed through the ennigton if not wired correctly ..

Thats at show it went down .. Lol
