amen to all the hatin' above......if there is one group of folks that are almost always guaranteed to be doing the wrong thing at the wrong time and driving faster than they need to be, it's FedEx.....mostly Ground, but the Freight guys are pretty much the same.
Ironic thing is, you've got to have a fairly decent driving record to get on with them......or 'graduate' from dock worker to driver.

Most truckers that complaing about Fed Ex are the ones that can't do the speed limit. They think that driving 75 in a 75 mph state is unsafe.

Actually, what is being said about FedEx drivers could be said about most steering wheel holders driving their trucks at top governed speed at all times and tailgating every chance they get. And then speeding through the truckstop too. FedEx is probably better than many others.

I like the FDX guys around my area, Down to earth fellas and can BS about anything. A few bad apples from FedEx makes the government run media, doesn't make the company bad.
Lone Ranger 13 said it best. FedEx Freight is probably better then most carriers. Ground, those folks will have to defend them self.

As of right now I'm working in a box truck for fed ex and I 100 percent agree with you I dodge them too all dang day
Now this being said I take hours longer than most on our crew with less stops because I don't have time for the reproccussions of an accident . And if they ever came up to me and told me maybe go faster I'd drop them like its hot. I run to make up time.. driving time is no time to make up time.. I still have pride in me .. but it sickens me to see so called proffesionals letting the clock or the a whipe in the office push you faster.. but the dangerous drivers that are local doing residentials they go fast because they can't handle 10-14 hours a day..
They are not proffessionals as much as the tunnel vision safety people want to say they are.. it doesn't matter what you drive . You can only be a proffesional if you take pride in professionalism over anything else...

How about worry about yourself. How do you know the drivers from FDX don't take pride in their work. Different jobs then what you do, now throwing your coworkers under the bus. get real dude

EVERY company out there has great drivers, and lousy drivers. It's the lousy ones that everyone remembers, that make the news. You probably have hundreds of GREAT drivers pass you daily. From hundreds of different companies.

Now back to the regularly scheduled topic...
