Bill was on vacation last week so today was our first day with him. He is really good at his job and is hilarious which is a plus. We are spending all of our time driving now which is awesome. Today was the first day we actually drove with the trailer on. We did some straight line backing and spent time driving around the yard. I have been catching on to things pretty quickly so I'm not as nervous about being able to become a driver. Also, I have gotten a chance to talk to quite a few drivers in the yard and have not heard a bad thing about millis yet.

Just an FYI: advised by Millis this morning that they only hire folks from states east of the mississippi river. Anybody know if this is a true fact, or......? Thanks.

Perhaps, maybe what they should have told you is that, "we're not hiring west of the Mississippi at this time." -
Who knows. I emailed em back for further info-maybe tomorrow.

I live in Texas. They have a terminal, a school, and are hiring from there. A friend from Texas starts school there this month, however Texas is the only stte West of the Mississippi that they hire from as far as I know

Well everything was going great until today.. I feel comfortable in the truck and have driven all week with no issues... But today we were going thru a construction zone and the truck next to us decided to pass us in the tight lanes... Well he swerved into my lane and hit my mirror and almost pushed me into the car next to us... Luckily nobody got hurt and the damage was minimal... We got him to pull over into a truck stop and exchanged info and notified the police... He decided not to wait for the police to get there.... When the police got there they found out that the info he have us was all fake.... Luckily my instructor wrote down every number he possibly could (license plates, company name, tractor number, and trailer number) the police were not happy about the other driver leaving...I forgot to mention that the other driver decided to leave right after we told him we have a camera in the truck... So I guess the cameras are not all bad
