Should note .. I had a great fuel mileage day
my last load was CARDBOARD BLOCKS and weighed about 43k and I pulled out 8.2 for the 236 mile run not bad at all . I'm still working on increasing my fuel mileage I hope to be able to get a 8.5 to 8.8 out of a 44k load . I will also note that the 8.2 was with a old trailer with NO SKIRTS so that's prob more like a 8.3 to 8.4 if I had skirts ...knuckledragger Thanks this. -

Had to retool a bit .. The load out of KY I picked didn't accept bob tails and the closest empty was 120 miles away .. So I replaned myself and dropped my load plan and did better actually
my new plan
MO to AL $1.66
AL to MI $ 1.81
MI to MS $ 1.47
$ 3298 gross
2023 miles ( hub / google )
should net around
$ 2175 after fuel and insurances and $ 50 in escrow . -
Some may ask why I only did 3 loads on my week ..
My my plan keeps me going from Tuesday 7-22 till Monday 7-28 @ 0900 ( payroll end )
i will ill pick up on Monday some where but I do things by payroll end to control my net income and variables -
If you take my gross by my actual days working 5.25 it comes out to just over $610.00 a day and my loads avg the following weight
load 1 = 43000
load 2 = 16000
load 3. = 30000
only 1 live load and rest are drops and preloads .. -
Jar Head, if you could please tell me how you went about becoming an o/o after the military. I'm currently in the military and I do have past experience both and a company and a lease driver. Just didn't know enough about the business aspect of the whole thing. I like the idea that you brought your own truck over vs leasing one from snf. I read in one of your post that you've had your current truck for a couple of years. What company did you work for prior to leasing on with sni. I'm done a lot of research on getting back into truck, and I refuse to let anyone tell me that becoming a o/o is not the best thing to do. All I really need is the recent driving experience and I don't think it will take a couple of years to do such a thing.
