Prime Flatbed Divison Info

Wow. Makes me think I'm doing reaallllyyy good. I bring home no less than $2-$3K a week (often times more than that) That's after all my deductions and stuff. I run the Texas regional route and am home every weekend. If he's only averaging about a grand a week. Geesh. (And I'd be more than happy to compare stubs with anyone on that)

 

Im gonna call bravo sierra on this post. I run Texas regional and while its good money its not THAT good especially if you are a company driver. Lets conservatively say you earn 52cpm after all accessorials added in (as a company driver) and lets say you are unbelieveably blessed to somehow get over 3000mi/wk so that your overall avg would be 3000 or close to it. 3000x.52=$1560 BEFORE TAXES. If you are a l/o (which I am) you still arent averaging every single week a take home of 2-3k!. So lets cut the crap and not put out unrealistic numbers which might cause a newb to think he's somehow getting the dirty end of the stick. If you are a l/o you also are getting PRETAX money which if you're smart you set some aside for that bill. However if you want to man up and prove yourself then give us your truck number making it very easy to verify your facts. Also if you come back and say you're running team then its still dishonest because the convo was about solo driving and you made your statement like you are solo.

Anyone who wants good honest info just pm me and I'll give you the straight up. Been here over a year as a lease operator and have few gripes. You work hard,you do well. You slack off and you will go hungry. As for equipment purchases,buy new tarps if you can and I recommend new or like new straps. Everything else I buy used as long as its in good shape. I also advize you to get 2-3 canvas "pad" tarps when you can. These can be ordered online at a variety of places or some army surplus stores have them. I carry 2 but have carried 3. They are something like 18x16 and usually less than a hundred bucks. Prime dont carry these,or they didnt,so you cant get them there. I use the canvas on steel loads where sharps edges may rip my vinyl tarps. They pay for themselves by saving your vinyl tarps which are much more expensive.

 

And as expected he sent a copy showing his gross income as a l/o but left off his take home check which is still before taxes. $4300 does not a $3k take home check make.

Ok now he sent his take home BEFORE TAXES as he is a l/o which showed almost $2400 on that week. But thats just one week out of 52 and like I said BEFORE TAXES.

 

*sigh* there's your proof. Don't want to believe the black and white that's fine. But after I send you proof now you still don't want to believe it. So there it is. That is indeed every week for me. Sorry if you don't believe it since you don't do it. But I do. I guess haters will always be haters.

 

Like I said put up a truck# or a yearly stub total. Easy enough.
