Yes we all have Autos. They run well and most do have a manual mode. No APU but we all have Condos with 1800 watt inverters with factory fridges. Outlets for small appliances leather seats blue tooth and best of all 68MPH. As one of the higher ups said a couple months ago, the trucks are "owner op spec"

SOLD....LOL wow that is awesome. I have never driven an automatic on a tractor before. I am going to train to use sticks and the company I want to work for has auto's...lol I like the 68 mph and leather seats...inverters and factory fridges are an even bigger plus...someone wrote something that in 5 yrs 80% of all truck sales were going to be to automatics. I had no idea that they had strengthened that transmission that much...it seems years ago everyone that had them hated them

We can also idle at 35 and 69. Bunks have A.C. and heat. Volvo bottom bunks fold out into a table, similar to what you might find in an RV.

Do you lose pay if you idle?? That was my next question was what the idling policy was....there is nothing worse then to be stuck in hot truck and unable to sleep. I just hope I can pull this off. I need to go back to work for me. I am actually probably either going to working for nothing or taking a pay cut (based on what my disability retirement pay currently is). I am tired of sitting at home...I have healed completely it seems much to the amazement of my pain docs. They have backed my morphine pump down 30% and I am fine. I go next week for another 15-20% reduction. Now its just getting my body back in shape to work hard. At 54 it isnt as easy as it was even 10 yrs ago but I am hard headed. Abilene is number one on my list with Ozark sitting at number two. I want to work for this company based on two threads I have read spanning a couple of years worth of dialogue. So we will see I still have about 3 months which include driver school but I am religious about the gym where i am lifting, using the treadmill, and a recumbent bike daily 6 days a week. I will get there I hope Abilene will at least give me a face to face interview. I sell me well.

No they dont take money out of your pay check if u idle. Husband been with them for four months.and never had anything.taken out for idle. They want u to be able to sleep.bc u cant drive sleepy. Just listen to ur trainer if u have to be with a trainer. The trainer knows what they are doing and remember that they do have families at home so one bad mistale can be the end for both.

Sitting at the TA in Slidell La. I'm waiting for my log book to catch up with me. I made it to San Antonio with 8 minutes left last night. I had to meet a driver in Weimar Tx to switch loads, he took mine to Memphis and I am taking his to Lakeland Fl. It delivers on Thursday at 8am. This works out perfectly, I pick up 10.75 hours after midnight tonight which will get me to Lakeland, and then I pick up 10.5 hours after midnight tomorrow night which allows me to get home Thursday. I will end my first week of the pay period with 3350 miles, I'll make the rest up when I leave on Monday.

Buddy there is some incredible food within your grasp. I dont know if you can head across the I-10 bridge into New Orleans but I can put you on a couple of restaurants that will serve food that is almost as good as sex..lol
