I kicked my load of grave vaults off in Honey Grove TX..While en route I received a 3 load offer. .

2 of them were 1,000 + loads and 1 was 660 delivering Lenexa KS Monday morning. .(Oh I was tempted, but 3 weekend's in a row at home is gonna spoil me)

I took a load from Grand Prairie TX to Kimberly WI.. delivering 0630 Monday. 99 miles dead head. .1,100 loaded. And I get a new trailer 2382..

I'll end the pay period with 2,800 miles.

Last week I had 2,200 miles. .I brought home $1,500 (300$ was a recruit bonus. .Thanks Ged)

I said that 3 weekends in a row at home would spoil me. .ugh

I beat feet to the yard after leaving Grand Prairie TX.. walked in my front door at 2100.. And was on the golf course at 8am Saturday morning to play 36 holes. .(I'm to old for that much golf. . Next time I'm stopping at 18 )

I left Sunday morning with 653 miles to the receiver. . Arrived around 2100 and bumped the dock at 0615 this morning. .I'm tired. .lol

I received a 2 load offer. . Milwaukee area to Denver 1,000 miles deliver Wednesday mid morning (live load/unload) Or Rockford IL to East Wichita KS.. deliver Wednesday. . Drop hook both ends. .650 loaded 200 empty. .I took the Rockford load. . More time, close to same miles and it sets me up for a light McPherson ks load.

I don't like being this far north. . People have a weird accent. . Ay?

Heck, they can put one in my truck. .I don't care. .I already have my own. . Another one isn't going to make a difference.

 

I'm at the Loves 52 miles from my drop in Houston. .I stopped in Denton yesterday afternoon around 1600..I didn't want to fight Dallas rush hour. .

So I got up early to beat morning rush hour. . Now I'm to early for my appointment (same place I delivered couple weeks ago. . Hope they're done with breakfast and exercise time)

I received a pre plan going from Houston to Alabama. .704 miles. . Lol, failure to plan is planning to fail. .I THOUGHT I'd reload going back to Topeka. . Where I was going to deliver and take a week off. I am burnt out! Driving angry. .cussing traffic. .I tried to get into a fist fight with another driver yesterday because he did something stupid. . Probably good for me he wouldn't get out of his truck. Stupid me.

I talked to Mark.. He said they would try to get a load from Alabama to KC.. told him it doesn't have to be next trip. . Can be one after or even after that. .I just need to recharge my batteries.

Question: I saw a Werner truck pulling a Swift trailer? something happen that I haven't heard about?

I had 2,800 miles last week. .7.0 mpg avg.. settlement this week $1,904 (money isn't everything but it helps)
