I try to not deliver on the end on the 14 hours. I like getting in the neighborhood as close as possible then taking a ten hour prior to delivering, of your close enough depending on company policy you may not have to go back on duty till you get the paperwork signed.

I have elog's by I can keep it from changing duty status if moving a limited distance.

Other ideas, pull on to street and park, open your hood, put out your triangles and go to bed.

As my former teacher who was a DOT officer whom could not help himself to tell all the ways people cheated the system. The PC rule is able to be used (with company permission unless you own the truck) as long as the tractor is bobtailed. I just had a level 1 and they went over my logs which included me driving PC over my 14 and they asked where i went I said read the notes they saw walmart and now I have my Sticker with no tickets.

    Again, this is not correct.

Case in point: Many drivers have used the PC rule to move their personal household goods with trailer attached.

You must not be under dispatch or a load, relieved of all duties and off duty.

I keep a copy of the Greenbook with me at all times with certain sections commonly confused and misunderstood (Yes, even by DOT / DMV Enforcement) earmarked for quick reference just in case.

no, you are assuming things that can mean trouble for you, in the event you get pulled over while on your "personal conveyance"...
