pretty much the same with every truck stop from San Antonio to Dallas. I-35 is a menace in general.
Dna Mach, 281ric, 48Packard and 1 other person Thank this. -
Should check out the Love's in Mt. Vernon Texas. Now there's a real hole in the ground. To be quite honest, all of Texas is garbage. Try finding a spot anywhere! Hate that state!
8thnote Thanks this. -
Found a beautiful rest area! Much better than a truck stop!
NavigatorWife and Big Duker Thank this. -
Always a cluster but I agree that all of them on I-35 Texas is a mess

Plenty of parking at the following locations
Petro in Weatherford exit 408 on I20
TA in Terrell exit 503 on I20
Truck parking area at mm110-112 on I30.
Wes-T-go in Tye exit 277 on I20
Big Country Truck Stop in Merkel exit 270 on I20
Bar B truck stop in Gordon, TX exit 370 on I20
The Love's in Odessa, while busy and dirty as ####, rarely fills to 100%
Lots of parking on 10 between Kerrville and Ft. Stockton between the rest areas, truck stops and parking areas.skibum_63, thenewtruckerswife, drvrtech77 and 2 others Thank this. -

I only have run I30 and I know about that stop between 110 and 112. Should have taken that one last night, but it would have shorted me an hour and I had a tire go earlier for a three and a half hour break. I was so not impressed last night to not have anywhere good to park, and I will not park on the ramps from the highway. Don't care if anyone else does it.
Wound up going to Hooks for the night which put me over on hours.
Would have killed for my Canadian Hours of Service last night. I could have made it past Texarcana legally. -
I use it all the time as its as far as you can go from El Paso without stretching believability (697 miles from our yard to that parking area)
-
I can start in Laredo Texas and make it to Hooks on my full 11, even with the half hour break and fuelling but just barely. If I didn't have the tire go south, it would have been good. I run 60mph all day. It's just over 600 miles.
